Just the Right Amount of Hunger for Weight Loss

Losing body fat requires that you allow yourself to get hungry from time-to-time.

 

The key is to avoid getting famished.

 

If you allow yourself to get too hungry, you are going to go nutty when presented with food.

 

It could get ugly.

 

 

This image always makes me laugh... A Bloody Mary topped with a full pizza, half a sub sandwich, buffalo wings, onion rings and best of all... one more Bloody Mary.

 

When fat loss is the goal, you really want to be running without food in your system for periods of time.

 

  • You will feel hungry.
  • You actually WANT to feel hungry.
  • That is when the body will use fat for fuel (basically your reserve energy source).

 

I know I'm simplifying this, but this is how to get lean.

 

When you do eat, you don't want to eat until you are stuffed.

 

This 4-pound taco wouldn't be the best choice.

I like eating one small meal mid-day that keeps me slightly full for 1-2 hours.

 

...then I'm back to using far for fuel until dinner (my biggest meal).

 

No matter what diet you follow...

 

Just make sure you spend part of your day when you aren't running on "food energy".

 

It takes discipline.

 

If you make this a daily thing, you will get lean over time.

 

Just some quick thoughts on weight loss.
